  Sturm und Drang o los hermanos menores - y perdidos - de Ari Koivunen, eso fue lo primero que pensé cuando escuché a este grupo de adolescentes fineses. Sólo en Finlandia vemos esta clase de cosas . . .

  La banda fue formada cuando apenas  tenían 13 año de edad y en el 2007 publicaron su primer disco, que por supuesto fue un éxito en el país escandinavo. Ninguno llega a las dos décadas de vida y se pueden dar el lujo de haber sido la telonera de Apocalyptica y de haber tocado en el Wacken dos años consecutivos...

  La estética es medio pangola, algo de delineador y mucho fijador . .  Levantarías la ceja de Sebastian Bach en sus años mozos... ¡Pero la música me la como! Estos chamitos se dan duro a pesar de todo.

André Linman - vocalista y guitarrista (18 años)
Jeppe Welroos - tecladista (18 años)
Calle Fahllund - baterista (18 años)
Alexander Ivars - guitarrista (19 años)
Al bajista Herin Kurkiala lo botaron de la banda y actualmente están buscando un reemplazo... Esperemos ver a quién escogerán

In this moment - Headbanging Friday pick of the week!

Yes, today I decided I shouldn't pick any epic-fabulous-forest- band... So instead I chose In this moment, a metalcore band from L.A formed in 2005.

They're really not my style... but they're different! They're RoaRRR but Maria does justice to us women ! Yes, they're gonna have a only girl's  moshpit in their shows so all of us can go crazy without getting killed!!! Isn't that lovely? And yes... that's why I picked them....

Heandbanging friday - pick of the week

Today I decided to start a new tradition in my awesome new Twitter account:  the Headbaging friday - pick of the week, where I'll recommend an awesome band every week.

The first band I chose - tan -  tan - tan-  is

WDNFRA (Woodenfra) from Montreal

Mat and  Fred started playing back in October 2006, in their dad's basement. According to their official bio:

" Fred started to play drums the very first day the band was created. Jo joined the band a few weeks later, to complete on base guitar. They were no specific goals at the beginning of WDNFRA but they badly wanted a first gig so they would practice for weeks almost everyday to get ready. The first show took place in Montréal, February 24th, at cafe l'inco".

Currently the band is formed by: Mat, Boud, Jo and Fred; and have played in places like Mexico. The thing that really got me about their sound is that they are willing to kick your ass in 5 seconds. The songs published in their Myspace probably aren't as brutal as the feeling you get with their live sound... and that's the thing I love about these guys.
